Langtang Trek

Langtang belongs to the most popular trekking areas after Annapurna and Everest. Government of Nepal has declared Langtang as National Park in the year 1974. This area is located at the northern direction from Kathmandu valley. We drive through the pass Kakani 1860 and down to the Trisuli river valley and further to Dhunche, the starting point of this trek. This area is inhabited by a tribe of Bhotia people who embrace Buddhism as their religion. While trekking one can see these people with their Yak herds and Sheep herds a lot.

Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Day 02: After breakfast sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city, Swayambhunath Stupa and Patan city
Day 03: Drive to Syabru Besi
Day 04: Syabru Besi - Lama hotel
Day 05: Lama Hotel - Langtang
Day 06: Langtang - Kyangjin Gompa
Day 07: Day at rest for acclimatization. Upon your interest an excursion to Tsergo Ri (4984m)
Day 08: Kyangjin Gompa - Lama Hotel
Day 09: Lama Hotel - Syabru Gaun
Day 10: Syabru Gaun - Dhunche
Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu
Day 12: Full day sightseeing tour to Pashupatinath, Boudhanath and old town of Bhaktap
Day 13: Day at leisure. Optional city tour.
Day 14: Transfer to the airport for final departure.
