Kathmandu Valley is rich tapestry of the cultural heritage of Nepal, the home of ancient and sophisticated Newari Culture. The skillfully built temples and places, engraved stone and metal images are the legacies of these three traditional cities Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan.

Dhulikhel and Nagorkot are famous for viewing Sunrise and sunset.  Traditionally they have been places for tourist to go for short hike up to the hill from where we can view panoramic view of the mountains. Moreover, Dhulikhel also has conglomerate of monasteries, temples, and places that have historical significance associated to Buddha himself.

Day 01:  Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)

Upon arrival, a representative from Amazing Himalaya will receive you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: In Kathmandu:

Today, we will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunathstupa and Boudhanath Stupa which are all in UN World Heritage sites. Durbar Squares are conglomerate of ancient courtyards, palaces, and temples that gives glimpses of the life of the royals in ancient Nepal. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most important places of pilgrimage for all Hindus. Swayambhunath is also known as the Monkey Temple, it is on top of a hill, and has historical significance associated with the foundation of Kathmandu valley. Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Bhaktapur- Changunarayan& Nagarkot:

After breakfast, we will visit a beautiful city in Kathmandu valley called Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is also listed in UN world heritage site. Here you can see the Durbar Square, the pottery Then tour goes to Changu Narayan temple, oldest temple of Kathmandu Valley. It is just 5 km away from Bhaktapur. the market, the famous peacock window, as well as the five-storey Nyatapola: Nepal’s highest pagoda. The Changunarayan temple was built during the reign of Lichabi dynasty back in 323AD. The place is open museum comprising of ancient temples, courtyards, sculptures, and other ancient remnants from Lichabi times. We will hike for about 2 hours to Nagarkot from here. On our way to Nagarkot, we can see the spectacular view of mountains ranges. Overnight in Nagarkot.

Day 04: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel:

We will wake up early in the morning to hike up to the top of the hill to see the sunrise. We will come back to the hotel for breakfast and hike through paddy fields of Brahmin/Chettri villages to Dhulikhel. Overnight in Dhulikhel.

Day 05: In Dhulikhel:

After breakfast, we will hike up-to Nomobodhha through orange farms, paddy fields, and beautiful landscapes. Nomoboddha is conglomerate of monasteries, temples, and places that have historical significance associated to Buddha himself. Overnight in Dhulikhel.

Day 06: Dhulikhel –Kathmandu- Departure: After breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight back home.
