Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a friendly representative from Amazing Himalaya Trekking will greet you and escort you to your hotel. Relax and freshen up in the hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today, we dive into the heart of Kathmandu’s heritage. Visit the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the iconic Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and the majestic Bouddhanath Stupa. Each site offers a unique glimpse into Nepal’s rich cultural tapestry.

Kathmandu Durbar Square is located in the heart of Kathmandu. It is also known as Basantapur and Hanuman Dhoka. The Durbar is divided into two courtyards: the outer courtyard houses Kasthamandap, Kumari Ghar, and the Shiva-Parvati Temple, and the inner section comprises Hanuman Dhoka and the primary palace. Several floors have been transformed into museums honoring three generations of Nepal’s Shah kings. Most areas of the palace grounds welcome tourists every day of the week.

Swayambhunath, Known as the Monkey Temple, lies on a Hill in the Kathmandu Valley, offering a panoramic view of the city. It is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Swayambhunath holds a special place in both Hinduism and Buddhism, surrounded by monasteries. Explore its rich history, soak in the spiritual atmosphere, and enjoy the serene surroundings while gaining insights into Nepal’s cultural and religious tapestry.

Pashupatinath Temple is a must-visit place in Kathmandu. It is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The primary temple stands tall in a pagoda style, decorated with detailed carvings and ornamentation. Around it, you’ll find smaller shrines, ashrams, and steps leading to the Bagmati River, where worshippers carry out their rituals. Beyond just a place of worship, this temple complex is a significant cultural and historical site, showcasing Nepal’s deep religious traditions. Only Hindus are allowed inside temple premises. However, other visitors can observe various rituals and ceremonies and soak in the serene atmosphere of the temple grounds.

Boudhanath Stupa, located around 11 kilometers away from Kathmandu, is one of the famous sites. You will find a spiritual vibe around the Boudhanath area with Tibetan chanting and mantras. Strolling around the Boudhanath Stupa is a different kind of experience. You can sit in one of the rooftop cafes in Boudhanath to soak into the spiritual vibe of the site. Around the Stupa, there are many handicrafts and souvenir shops, and you can get something to take back home. Overnight in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, we head to Bhaktapur, a city that feels like a step back in time with its beautiful courtyards, pottery market, and stunning Nyatapola Temple. Strolling around narrow alleys and enjoying the ancient vibe of the market is simply the best way to explore Bhaktapur.

In the afternoon, we’ll explore Patan, also known as Lalitpur, famous for its Durbar Square, the Golden Temple, and the Mahaboudha Temple. In Patan Durbar Square, you can dive into beautiful Newari architecture. Then, visit the Patan Museum to explore beautifully preserved statues and other artifacts.  Overnight in Kathmandu.

Enjoy a scenic drive to Pokhara, passing through picturesque mountain landscapes and tranquil villages. The drive is around 6 to 7 hours from Kathmandu. Upon arrival, soak in the stunning views of Lake Fewa and the Annapurna Mountain Range. Overnight in Pokhara.

Start your day with a boat ride on Fewa Lake, reflecting the peaks of the Annapurna range. Hike up to the Peace Pagoda Temple for panoramic views of Pokhara. Visit the impressive Shiva Shrine and the fascinating Devi’s Falls before returning to your hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.

Phewa Lake: Start your day with a serene boat ride on this beautiful lake, enjoying the reflections of the mountains in its waters. From Phewa Lake, you can also enjoy the view of Annapurna.

Peace Pagoda Temple: We’ll hike up to this pagoda, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of Pokhara and the Annapurna Himalaya range. The hike is around 45 minutes. Upon reaching the top of Peace Pagoda, you’ll feel a peaceful vibe and enjoy the view of the Himalayas range.

Shiva Statue and Devi’s Falls: After visiting the Peace Pagoda, we’ll explore the Shiva Statue and the stunning Devi’s Falls, a unique waterfall.

After a day of exploration, we’ll head back to our hotel for another night in Pokhara.

After breakfast, we journey to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, check into your Jungle Lodge and enjoy an afternoon filled with safari activities. Overnight in Chitwan.

Immerse yourself in Chitwan’s natural beauty with a day of adventures including an elephant-back safari, elephant bathing, a visit to the elephant breeding center, a canoe trip, jungle walks, a village tour, cultural programs, and bird watching.

In the jungle activities in Chitwan National Park, you may encounter endangered species of animals.

• Elephant Safari: Ride on an elephant to explore the park and spot wildlife.
• Elephant Bathing: If conditions allow, you might even get a chance to help bathe the elephants.
• Elephant Breeding Centre: Learn about the conservation efforts and see baby elephants.
• Canoeing Trip: Enjoy a peaceful canoe ride on the river, where you can see different species of birds and maybe even crocodiles.
• Jungle Walk and Village Tour: Take a guided walk through the jungle and visit a local village to learn about the culture and way of life.
• Cultural Programs and Bird Watching: Enjoy traditional cultural performances

We will drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the beautiful mountain landscapes and the serene Trisuli River along the way. Spend your last evening in Kathmandu, perhaps exploring the lively Thamel district. You can shop in souvenir shops in Kathmandu.
