This trekking program offers an interesting contrast between the middle hills called Mahabharat and the breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains. It also provides a cultural contrast between the Hindu and Buddhist settlements in the Helambu region. Dominated by the Sherpa and Tamang communities, this region is often referred to as the home of the Sherpa tribe, distinct from their fellow Sherpas in the Khumbu region. The trek features visits to Buddhist monasteries and the chance to encounter the well-known beautiful Sherpa girls, adding to the attractions of this trekking experience. The cultural richness, scenic diversity, and encounters with local communities make the Helambu trek a captivating and memorable journey.
