This trekking program offers an interesting contrast between the snow-capped mountains and the middle hills known as Mahabharat, showcasing the diversity between the Hindu and Buddhist settlements in the Helambhu region. Dominated by the massive Langtang Lirung at 7246 m, this area is the home of the Sherpa tribe, distinct from their fellow Sherpas in the Khumbu region. The Helambu region features Buddhist monasteries and is renowned for its beautiful Sherpa women, considered among the most beautiful in all Sherpa communities, according to local beliefs. The unique cultural blend, scenic landscapes, and the warm hospitality of the people make the Helambhu trek a memorable and enriching experience.
